Hilton breaks ground on new brand of hotel in Columbia

Parks Hospitality Group has broken ground on LivSmart Studios by Hilton Columbia Greystone at 175 Stoneridge Drive.

The 113- room property, operated by Parks Hospitality Group, is under construction with the project led by SKA Construction, according to a news release. It is expected to be completed by May 2026.

“We are thrilled to bring this new brand to Columbia and excited to expand our partnership with the best-in-class hospitality leader, Hilton,” Chris Hardy, vice president of commercial strategy for Parks Hospitality Group, said in the release.

Built to accommodate guest stays of 10 nights or more, the property will deliver a hotel experience that allows long-stay travelers to maintain their daily routine while immersing themselves in the local community, the release stated.

The hotel will feature modern apartment-style suites, a retail market, a fitness center and guest laundry room. The amenities include an outdoor gathering area, which includes a fire pit, grills and comfortable seating. Each suite will include a fully equipped kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and two-burner cooktop, along with storage options for the long-stay traveler.

LivSmart Studios by Hilton is part of Hilton Honors, a guest loyalty program for Hilton’s brands. Hilton Honors members who book directly through preferred Hilton channels have access to instant benefits, including a flexible payment slider that allows members to choose from a combination of points and money to book a stay, an exclusive member discount and free standard WiFi. Members also have access to contactless technology exclusively through the Hilton Honors mobile app, where Hilton Honors members can check-in, choose their room and access their room using a digital key.

LivSmart Studios by Hilton is one of the latest additions to the Hilton portfolio.
